Built in 1926 as the Roseville Theater and Masonic Hall by the local Masonic Lodge at a reported cost of $150,000. The theater had a seating capacity of 840. The interior has been remodeled several times over the years and today it serves as a live performance theater with a seating capacity of 584.
At one time it had a $20,00 pipe organ, but over the years the audience for movies dwindled until it ceased showing movies in the 1980's. It was then converted into a live performance theater operated by as Magic Circle Theater. In 2010 the Magic Circle Theater declared bankruptcy, but eventually the masons were able to find a new tenant in The Roseville Theatre Arts Academy. Today it continues its long tradition of an historic place to experience performances.
