Approximately 80 year old Beatty Brothers water pump next to old stone farm/highway house on Victoria Road in Prince Edward County.
Pump is on a concrete wellhead next to the stone building. Handle has been removed, but the pump piston is still greased and works smoothly by hand (I checked).
Pump was manufactured by the Beatty Brothers foundry in Fergus, ON. The company was noted for sturdy, well-constructed farm and well implements and hardware.
Public access is from the roadside. Adjacent building has been sold and is undergoing restoration.
2 July, 2016 - Grounds are now private property. Well has been removed and concrete broken up.
