Bronze marker for the time capsule near the west entrance to the Civic Center (city hall). It was placed during the city's centennial celebration in 2007. Roseville was a town the railroads built, serving as the Northern California center for trains heading east over the Sierra's and north over the Siskiyou's. Today the railroads are still a major factor in Roseville, though computer associated businesses have come to the forefront in recent years.

This is one of two time capsules located a few feet apart close to the west entrance to the Roseville Civic Center. The marker reads:
