Located just off Hiway 78 between Mount Carroll and Morrison, IL. Scattered along two miles of roadside ditch area are some of the largest blackberries that I've ever picked. The coordinates are for the middle of the two miles of road. Drive slow on this hilly country road. Park where it is safe, and you'll still have just a short walk to the various patches. It took me a week, in my spare time, to pick from one end to the other. And then it was time to go back to the beginning and start over again. I collected over 400 pints of berrys. 80 pints went into our tummy and freezer. The rest were quickly snatched at the local farmers markets. Just don't jump the fence onto private property. Two farmers own most of the fields along this road and they pick berries here too.
