This Eagle Scout project is located at Crossroads Christian Church and is the work of James Odle. It was completed in 2000 by Odle. He was a member of the Crossroads Troop 332. The project was to erect a flagpole which holds United States flag as well as a Christian flag.

There is a small memorial plaque placed at the base of the flagpole with the basic information about the project. It is also a memorial to Odle, who passed away in January of 2008.

The flagpole is located in the median between the front doors of the church and the parking lot of the mega-church that sits between the cities of Evansville and Newburgh.
