[DE] Die Koptisch-Orthodoxe Kirche des Heiligen Antonius wurde am 18. November 1990 von Papst Schenuda III von Alexandria geweiht. Sie ist Teil des koptischen St. Antonius-Klosters, direkt am Ortsausgang von Kröffelbach. Kröffelbach liegt etwa 13 km von Wetzlar, 18 km von Butzbach, 25 km von Gießen und etwa 60 km von Frankfurt entfernt. Ein schönes Grundstück, etwa 2 ha groß, inmitten des Solmsbachtales. Dort wurden die Kirche und der Glockenturm neu gebaut. Im Inneren der Kirche gibt es viele schöne Ikonen im neo-koptischen Stil.

[EN] The Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Anthony was consecrated on November 18th 1990 by Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria. It is located in the Coptic Monastery of St. Anthony in Kröffelbach.

The monastery is located right on the edge of Kröffelbach, a small village which is located about 13 km from Wetzlar, 18 km from Butzbach, 25 km from Gießen and about 60 km from Frankfurt. It is a nice plot, about 2 hectares, in the middle of the Solms creek valley. That's where the Church and a bell tower were built.

Inside the Church there are many beautiful icons which were painted in neo-Coptic style.
