The Town of Ault [visit link] is a transportation center located at the crossroads of US 85 and CO State Highway 14. Incorporated in 1904, the town boomed with the arrival of the railroad in the 1890's and was formerly known as High Land and Burgdorff Siding. Located 15 miles east of Fort Collins, the town boasts several nice roadside parks, antique shops and hosts an annual fall festival.
