Devane Park is located in a circle surrounded by Park Drive and can be reached from U.S. Highway 27 via East Interlake Boulevard. In the center of the park is a gazebo. The weathervane is located on top of the gazebo. In looking at it during our visit, I kept trying to decide what sort of bird it is supposed to represent. Since we learned there are eagles, including bald eagles, nesting in central Florida, perhaps it is an eagle about to catch its prey.
