This life-size carving of an Ancient Roman legionary with complete uniform in front of a milestone is located in the park in front of the local history museum of Frenkendorf.
I could not find any details. Unlike many neighboring towns the area of Frenkendorf seems not to have been inhabited in Roman times, the remains of a small temple on a forested hill are the only Roman remains found here. The statue was probably created for this location, the shield of the legionary shows the coat of arms of Frenkendorf in the center.
