This sculpture is located on the riverfront between the Pagoda and the Evansville History Museum. It is an etched sculpture where the people are etched out of the stainless steel sculpture.
The scene depicts Robert Evans, co-founder and namesake of Evansville, and Hugh McGary, co-founder of the city. They have outstretched hands as if they are about to shake hands with one another.
The sculpture was erected in 1993 by Amy Musia
