This large, freestanding arch is one of two of this type located along K Street. This particular arch resides at the gateway to the east end of a pedestrian tunnel that leads to Old Sacramento, a very popular historical district. On the west face of the arch reads 'DOWNTOWN' and on the east face of the arch reads 'TO OLD SACRAMENTO'.
