The gardens were at their peak in late May. Wonderful fragrances throughout; all colors. They are identified. The display of climbers is instructive. There are some neat features throughout the garden. There is also a gift shop. Each year visitors to the Rose festival get to vote on the "best rose" of the year.
As a bonus during May, one sees hedges of rhodendrons. There are even minature roses. There are groups (multiples) of each variety.
Summer concerts have a place here.
