Grantswood Baptist Church is a buff brick church sitting on a hill overlooking I-459. It appears that the old sanctuary sits to the left of the current sanctuary. The church was established as New Hope Baptist Church here on land with a log house donated by Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Jackson Glass on August 21, 1884. New Hope Cemetery (owned by the church) is to the left of the church.
