The Nelson Memorial Cemetery occupies approximately 6 hectares (15 acres) of land. It is easily accessed by beautifully tree lined corridors that provide excellent strolling lanes.
There are approximately 12,000 gravesites located in the cemtery. Some of Nelson's most prominent and earliest citizens are resting here, some of which date back to the mid 1840's.
