Weatherford's bicentennial time capsule is located at ground level in the courtyard of McPhettridge Centennial Park in the downtown area. The graphic painted on the sidewalk is about 6 feet in diameter, lined with bricks along the circular edge, and lists the year of founding (1898), centennial year (1998), and the year of the city's bicentennial, when the time capsule should be opened (2098).
