Created by the merger of the First and Second Church, Sacramento, the new First Church of Christ, Scientist, Sacramento opened in 2010 and includes a reading room. It is very modern design, definitely not the traditional architecture of the Church buildings. Located at 4829 Folsom Boulevard in East Sacramento, Sunday Services and Sunday school are at 10:30 AM., Wednesday Testimony and 7:30 PM. The Reading Room is open to the public from 12 noon to 6 pm Monday through Friday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday. Closed Sundays.
