The ghost sign for this local Sweetwater chain of hardware and implement stores is located at the old location downtown at 4th Street and Pecan.
The Higginbotham-Bartlett hardware company moved out onto Broadway Blvd (AKA the old US 80, modern Business Loop IH-20) in the 1950s, but kept the downtown building open for office space.
The downtown location was finally vacated and boarded up in the 1980s.
