In Raynham, near the town's center, is the Raynham Public Library.
The library is located on South Main Street, near the intersection with North Main Street, Pleasant Street and Orchard Street. It is on the northwest side of the road, across the street and a bit down from the Old Stone Church.
The library is in a white wooden L-shaped building 1 1/2 stories tall. A dark wooden sign is located on end of the building, and the entrance faces the parking lot at the other end. Black shutters frame the windows. On the lawn in front are two war memorials.
The library organization started in 1897 when 93 people of Raynham formed the Raynham Library Association forerunner of today's library. The present building was built and occupied in 1949. The latest addition was built in 1991.
The library is part of the SAILS Network.
