Zia was born on May 15, 1946 and passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Zia was a resident of Voorhees, New Jersey. Zia Rahman led an effort to establish a mosque in Voorhees and worked to foster interfaith cooperation in southern New Jersey. SOURCE

The bench is made of those recycled plastic boars, three for the back and three for the bum all supported by metal bracing. The bench is part o f a series of dedicated objects throughout the park. The inscription reads:
