An interesting bell is on display on the small old barracks town outside Mont Saint-Michel.

A nicely decorated bell is suspended from a 6' high blue four-leg stand with a globe at the top in a town that is very familiar to visitors to the famous monastery at Mont Saint-Michel.
The bell is engraved on all four sides with images of plants and animals: - snake, bird, fish, cattle of several types, and a human figure all encircling an image of the earth, moon or sun. Along to top is a circle of flowers.
The dedication inscription is apparently:
POUR TOUTES LES CREATURES
(FOR ALL THE CREATURES)
and on the other side
LOUE SOIS IV SEIGNEUR
