Der Rossbrand (1.768 m) zählt nicht zu unrecht zu den schönsten Aussichtsbergen der Ostalpen, denn vom Gipfel bietet sich ein 360° Panorama auf nahezu 150 markante Alpengipfel: vom Dachstein im Norden über Tennen- und Hagengebirge und Großglockner bis hin zu den Radstädter und Schladminger Tauern.
