Easily found at the very start of A65 Lound Road in Kendal. On a busy junction, at east end of Nether Bridge over river Kent, in grounds of old K Shoes factory. (K = Kendal)

The local paper has an article.
The Westmorland Gazette in 18 March 1922 issue writes that a Celtic Cross was unveiled on 11th March by Mr R Elson, an employee, who lost three sons during the war.
