Grossbach is the name of a river in Southern Germany (there are some others with the same name). It begins at the confluence of Hagenbacher Bach and Waidbach near Degerfelden and flows towards south for about five kilometers. It joins Rhine in the Rheinfelden quarter of Warmbach, hence the alternative but unofficial name of this river.
The Rhine is one of Europe's largest rivers with a length of over 1,200 km from the Alps to the North Sea. In its drainage area live over 50 mio. people.
The confluence is located in a residential area of Warmach quarter in the west of Rheinfelden. There is no direct access to the confluence spot but there is a road bridge about 20 meters from there. This is also the location where the pictures and coordinates were taken.
