The water pump was placed here probably in the sixties when this house was relocated .357 miles from its original location. The pump looks vintage, a definite antique. Visitors are able to walk freely about the grounds of this house and the other buildings which collectively are part of the Colonial Complex. The pump appears to be made of wood and it has a crack running laterally from top to bottom. There are no markings or any other evidence of manufacturing origin. Parking is plentiful and available roadside.
