A homemade grave marker consisting of a large anvil with lettering welded on the front and top, and metal punch stamped into the back. The front reads:

Aug. 12 - 1875
June 4
1939

The top reads: FATHER

The back is difficult to decipher but appears to read:

He who lives by
the sword shall
die by the
sword
