The industrial park of the Hautes-Forges is located near the junction of Highways 40 and 55, along the latter. Located 2 minutes from the airport and 7 minutes from the port, it is easily accessible. It is also served by the rail network.
About the Industrial Zone #2:
Surrounded by a buffer zone, the park is separated from the neighboring residential areas. All services are available (natural gas, electricity, water, sewer, fiber optic cable internet).
More than 270 000 m2 of land are still available in the park of the Hautes-Forges, which represents only 15% of its area.
It includes the industrial motel FDI Three Rivers, which serves as an incubator for start-ups.

About the honourable Guy St-Pierre:
"Guy Saint-Pierre, CC GOQ (born August 3, 1934), is a retired Canadian politician and businessman. Born in Windsor Mills, Quebec, he was the son of Armand Saint-Pierre and Alice Perra. Saint-Pierre graduated from Université Laval with a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1957. He obtained an M.Sc. from the University of London in 1959 and holds a D.I.C. (Diploma of the Imperial College) from the Imperial College London. In 1959, Saint-Pierre joined the army as an officer in the Corps of Royal Canadian Engineers at Camp Gagetown, New Brunswick.
He was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 1970 election in Verchères as a Liberal and re-elected in Chambly in the 1973 election. He served for two years as Minister of Education and from 1972 to 1976 as Minister of Industry and Trade." (Source Wiki)
About Gilles Beaudoin, Mayor:
"Gilles Beaudoin (1919–2007) was a Canadian politician and a former Mayor of Trois-Rivières. He was born on October 12, 1919. He owned and managed a furniture store located on rue Champflour. He was married to Dolorès Blais since 1943 and was the father of five children. Beaudoin was elected for the first time as Mayor in 1970. He was re-elected in 1974, 1978, 1982 (against PQ MNA Denis Vaugeois) and 1986. He did not run for re-election in 1990." (Source Wiki)
Le parc industriel des Hautes-Forges est situé près de la jonction des autoroutes 40 et 55, en bordure de cette dernière. Situé à 2 minutes de l’aéroport et à 7 minutes du port, il est facilement accessible. Il est également desservi par le réseau ferroviaire.
Entouré d’une zone tampon, ce parc est séparé des espaces résidentiels avoisinants. Tous les services y sont offerts (gaz naturel, électricité, aqueduc, égout, fibre optique, Internet par câble).
Plus de 270 000 m2 de terrains sont encore disponibles dans le parc des Hautes-Forges, ce qui représente 15 % seulement de sa superficie.
On y retrouve le motel industriel d’IDE Trois-Rivières, qui sert d’incubateur pour des entreprises en démarrage.

Guy St-Pierre:
"Guy Saint-Pierre (Windsor Mills, 3 août 1934 - ) est un ingénieur, un homme d'affaires et un homme politique québécois. Entre 1970 et 1976, il a été député libéral de Verchères puis de Chambly à l'Assemblée nationale du Québec et ministre dans le premier gouvernernement de Robert Bourassa. Au terme de sa carrière politique, il s'est tourné vers le monde des affaires, orchestrant la fusion des deux plus grandes sociétés montréalaises de génie-conseil au sein du groupe SNC-Lavalin en 1991.Au printemps 1970, le gouvernement de l’Union nationale est au pouvoir depuis juin 1966 et le Québec se rapproche d’une élection générale. Résidant à Saint-Bruno sur la rive sud de Montréal, un groupe de citoyens l’invite à se porter candidat libéral. Le 29 avril, il est élu député libéral de la circonscription de Verchères et ministre de l’Éducation dans le gouvernement de Robert Bourassa1.
Il sera muté au poste de ministre de l’industrie et du commerce en février 1972, poste qu’il occupera jusqu’à la défaite du PLQ le 15 novembre 1976." (Source Wiki)
