Diegterbach is a river in the canton Basel-Landschaft with a length of about 10 kilometers. The origin is north of Eptingen; then it flows through Diegten, the village after which it was named. The river flows quite straight to the north through Tenniken and Zunzgen and then merges with Ergolz in the center of Sissach.
Ergolz is the main river of the canton Basel-Landschaft. The origin is near Geissfluh, then it flows through the counties of Sissach and Liestal to join the Rhine in Augst.
The coordinates are on a path along the north bank of Ergolz, there is a small park next to the aviary where the river can be reached. The south bank is in a residential zone and on private property, so inaccessible.
