The statue of St. Peter, the patron of the papacy and many other trades. St Peter is mist frequently recalled as the patron saint of fishermen, since he was a fisherman in life and because Jesus called him to be "a fisher of men." This statue in front of the Chancery of the Catholic Diocese of Austin was commissioned as an enhancement to the new Chancery building. It is an exact replica of the one in Rome.
