Samish River Bridge - 1934 - Skagit County, WA - Bridge Date Stones and Plaques on Waymarking.com

The Samish River Bridge was one of many highway improvements in the realignment of US 99 in the mid-1930s. Prior to this period US 99 ran along the Chuckanut Drive, today's Washington Highway 11.

Designed in as a Pratt through truss bridge, there is a wooden sidewalk along the eastside of the span to accommodate pedestrians.
