This is a time capsule put together by Seattle Times Employees in 1989 for the Washington State Centennial.

The time capsule is located in the corner of an employee's only park (but within a few feet of the sidewalk). The park is a nice little oasis unto itself in an otherwise mostly built up part of Seattle. The capsule was placed in 1989 to commemorate the centennial of Washington State and is to be opened on November 11, 1989.
