This ancient cemetery is adjacent the Finger Lakes Trail system near the corner of Kelly Hill Road and County Road 22. It also has awesome views of Lamoka and Waneta Lakes to the north. There were about 100 graves visible.

Most of he headstones are difficult to read if not outright unreadable. two headstones stand out, however, as they appear to be replacement headstones, placed to honor a Revolutionary war soldier and his wife. Pvt David Bevier (1764-1829) served in Wessenfel's Regt. He was only 12 when the Declaration of Independence was signed, so he could have signed on as a drummer boy. More likely, he caught he end of the war at age 16 or so.
Although there is no sign indicating the name of this cemetery, and googlemaps does not identify it, a search on Pvt. Bevier (above) indicates that the cemetery is called Six Nations Cemetery.
Another pair of husband and wife headstones caught my attention because they had fallen over, but were placed on their bases "head to head" on top of their bases like a pair of sarcophagi.
