The Benton County Courthouse, built in 1888-89, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the oldest courthouse still in use in the state of Oregon and, in my opinion, remains one of the most attractive government buildings in the state. The courthouse was designed by Delos D. Neer, a prominent Portland Architect, using local stone and brick.
