Skulptura stojí v malém parku, naproti kostela sv. Vavrince. Pripomíná skutecnost, že v roce 1843 byly v Dacicích vyroben první kostkový cukr. Autorem nápadu tvarovat cukr do kostek byl reditel zdejšího cukrovaru Jakub Kryštof Rad.

The sculpture stands in a small park, in front of the church of St. Lawrence. It recalls that in 1843 were in Dacice produced the first sugar cubes. The author of the idea to shape sugar into cubes was director of the local sugar factory Jakub Krystof Rad.
