This mural on a formerly-blank wall of a parking lot was originally painted nearly 20 years ago for Barry's Coffee Company, but has been slightly modified to support the new coffee shop owners in business there today.
"Barry's" and "Shop" were painted over, and now the mural simply reads "Coffee." The photo credit for the mural in its original state belongs to the painter, Fallon Studio.
Blasterz think that this handsome mural is suggesting that coffee is the foundation of civilization, which we know to be true.
Greek Ionic columns hold up a stone entablature with the word "COFFEE" on it. Behind this structure (is it an exit from a building? Is it a temple ruin?) a vast and arid desert filled with cactus stretches away as far as the eye can see, to the distant dramatic mountains in the background.
