The plaque accompanying this replica of the famous sculpture reads:

"AUGUSTE RODIN
THE THINKER. 1880
Norton Simon Art Foundation"

but that appears to be misleading. According to Wikipedia, Rodin only made the first small plaster version of the work in 1880. It was not cast in bronze until 1902. 28 original bronze casts were made and this appears to be one of them since it is listed on this Wikipedia page of those casts (visit link)

The work, of course, depicts a naked man sitting on the edge of a boulder, crouched over so that his right arm rests on his thigh and his chin rests on his hand. His left arm casually rests on his left thigh. The man appears to be deep in thought.
