Built in 1892 as the home of Charles and Kate Eisenbeis.

Originally referred to as the "Eisenbeis Castle" by locals.

A Jesuit training college from 1927 to 1968, it was then that the name "Manresa" was attached to the building after the town in Spain where Ignatius Loyola founded the Jesuit order.

It was converted to a hotel in 1968.
