The Carney Road bridge is a small one lane bridge known mostly to the locals in Salmo. It's used as a short cut across Erie Creek between the new and old highway bridges on the west and east sides of town. It crosses Erie Creek about 1 km. before it joins the Salmo River just east of town.

The bridge looks fairly new but has no date on it. It'd hard to say whether or not it is a replacement for an older bridge. The wooden arch and the concrete abutments both show little sign of wear.
