Several wonderful chimeras decorate the Italianate Renaissance-inspired 1888 old Sedgwick Co. Courthouse in downtown Wichita KS. Younger Sister Blaster's fave is the owl!

Unique Chimeras are ensconced in leafy foliage all around this wonderful Italianate building. See the soldier peeking out, or the blindfolded face of th goddess of Justice?

Blasterz are no mind-readers, but we think the owl symbolizes wisdom, the Goddess of Justice symbolizes the law, and the soldier symbolizes the might of the state.

These chimeras can be found under the friezes over the entries to the courthouse.
