Set in 1935, this USGS benchmark is supposed to list elevation above sea level. I can not make out the elevation if it was ever put on this benchmark. This marker resides at the corner of Matts Hollow Road and Farrar Hill Rd in the community of Fredonia near Manchester, TN. The dirt around the concrete holding this marker has eroded away to leave several inches of concrete exposed.
