Captain James Dunn was born 1746 in Ireland. He was a captain in the Pennsylvania Continental Line during the Revolutionary War. He married Rebekah Moore in 1766 in Pennsylvania, and later married Nancy Agnes Sterret in about 1791. Dunn died February 25, 1818 in Butler County, Ohio.
