The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) had a company at Crowder State Park from 1939 to 1942. The only structure remaining at the park from the CCC days is this bridge. The bridge is a single span stone bridge over a small creek was built in 1939. The main road through the park continues to use this bridge.

The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
