Cherry Heights Park is located along Gateshead Crecscent and can also be accessed from Stoney Brook Drive. The park has a single play structure, 2 soccer fields, 2 softball fields, and a long paved walkway. This park is very busy during early summer evenings, with many kids there as part of organized soccer and baseball leagues.

The play structure is a little older than most other city parks in this part of Hamilton. The play structure is suitable for children who are 2 - 11 years old. Additionally, there are a number of swings. A few benches are located throughout the park. The area under the play structure is covered with fine gravel (pea gravel).

There are no washrooms and no water fountains in this park. There are a number of shade trees throughout the park but the play structure likely gets little to no shade. Parking is available in a lot located off Gateshead Crescent. Addition on-street parking as available along Gateshead Crecscent and along Stoney Brook Drive.
