Bridal Veil Falls is a significant landmark as you travel along the Trans-Canada Highway. Here the province dedicated a park in 1965 for picnicking and walking up to the base of the waterfall.

In the North Cascades where the Fraser River flows west from Hope there are several waterfalls along the mountains. In this case Bridal Veil Falls was thought to be significant that in 1965 the Province of British Columbia declared the area around it a provincial park.

The park remains a destination for day-trippers from the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver to enjoy one of the spectacular waterfalls in the area.
