Stríbro is a town in the Pilsen Region of the Czech Republic, some 25 km to the west from the region capital of Pilsen.
Stríbro was a mining settlement, first documented in 1183. It became a town in 1263. The Czech name derives from silver (Czech: stríbro), which used to be mined there.
The historic heart of the town has been declared the historical town-reservation. The most important town sights are the town square itself and the superb renaissance town hall decorated by exquisite grafiti, as well as the remarkable group of renaissance house-portals of great architectural merit.

Nejvýznamnejší památkou mesta Stríbra je renesancní radnice. Rozlehlá stavba se tremi štíty byla postavena v prubehu 16. století. Renesancní cást budovy zaujímá místo dvou meštanských domu. K rozšírení vstupní cásti do dnešní podoby došlo po požáru stavby v roce 1588. Podle nedávných zjištení byl autorem prestavby Albrecht Vlach Gryson, autor renesancní radnice v Plzni. Zadní cásti objektu byly výrazne upraveny a rozšíreny v 19. století. V tomto období byla rovnež provedena rekonstrukce fasády a sgrafit dle návrhu prof. V. Schwerdtnera. Figurální sgrafita predstavují údajné založení mesta Sobeslavem I. v roce 1131, hájení mesta proti križákum v roce 1427 a alegorii spravedlnosti. Poslední nákladnou obnovou prošla radnice v letech 1990 - 1997. Vedle radnice stojí altán z 18. století rekonstruovaný soucasne s radnicí.
