I often look at this windmill as I wait for the train so took a few photographs. It is at the back of Elders Stock & Station Agency & can be accessed from the car park.
The name Southern Cross refers to a foundry in Toowoomba, Queensland which manufactured these windmills by the thousands. This one is no longer pumping water but apart from that, works perfectly.
