The beach is accessed via a short walk on a sandy track from the parking area. It is an unpatrolled beach & the waters go from shallow to very deep only a few metres out so not really suitable for swimming. The sands are extremely fine & along with its neighbour Hyams Beach, are considered to be some of the whitest on Earth.
The beach is suitable for various ball games, walking, sunbathing but not nude bathing. You need to be self sufficient so bring an esky, chair & an umbrella if you plan to spend the day.
Dogs aren't allowed nor are vehicles. Toilets are located at Hyams Beach a short drive away. Chinamans is available all year round & there are no fees.
Unlike Hyams Beach which can be very busy at times you may well have Chinamans to yourself.
