The first small skip jump in Segendorf has been build in 1952. In the following years it been enlarged serveral times. The Monrepos Schanze has been build in 1955. In the 60's official competitions has been held here.
The years later it has been in use by members of the Ski Club Monrepos Segendorf. In 1986 it has been rebuild as "Horst Stragand Schanze". The last time any modifications has been made in 1997.
Around 2008 the staircase of the tower broke down and it has been removed later.
