This bell exists in front of the
First United Methodist Church in Klamath Falls. This bell still functions and has a handle that allows you to ring it loudly. It sounds great! There is text on both the front and back of the bell. The text on the front reads 'THE C.S. BELL CO' and 'HILLSBORO, O.' The text on the back reads 'STEEL ALLOY 40 CHURCH BELL'. From doing some online research I discovered that the company who made this bell was made by Charles Singleton Bell who started the company in Hillsboro, Ohio in 1882. There is no year on this bell but it was made between 1894 and the 1970s (from reading this

here. The'40' on the bell stands for 40-inch cast in which this bell was made from.
From reading the church's website this congregation is one of the oldest ones in Klamath Falls. The current building was originally built in the late 1907 and is the third building they have used. There looks to be a former bell tower that is part of the church and maybe this bell once hung in it? I've contacted the church folks for information on the history of this bell and if/when I get an answer, I'll post it here.
