Office might notice a light blue fuel pump standing in a corner to an older storage shed. I was told by one of the ranger employees that this pump was used to fill the company rigs for many years until being discontinued sometime in the 1980s. It now stands as a static display.
I did some research online regarding the The Tokheim Tank and Pump Company, in Fort Wayne, Indiana and discovered that this pump is a model 36 Pump and was made between 1936 and 1940. It is also missing the round globe on top that would have had the brand name of gasoline that was used and would have lit up. I found a website that has a model like this one here. As you can see, this pump is also missing the three metal bars at the front base (you can see the holes where they would go) of the pump. Fully restored, this model of pump sells anywhere from $1500 to $5000, depending on the brand name of gas and amount of restoration needed.
*NOTE* This pump is only accessible during business hours, M-F. After hours, the gate to the station is locked.
