This Outside Wooden Display Carving is a beaver carved into an old stump , just off the Lake Ontario trail. It was hand carved over many days in Spring 2012 by artist Bill Le Blanc.
This carving bears a dedication emblem, which reads "For My Great Granddaughter Nichole 2012 Artist Bill Le Blanc"
There is no longer an entrance fee for access to Confederation Park, and parking is available in a lot adjacent to where this carving is located.
Currently (April 2013) there are 2 completed works by this artist in Confederation Park, a third is underway and there are plans for 3 additional carvings.
